Donald G. MacGregor is a Senior Research Associate of Decision Research in Eugene, Oregon. He received his Ph.D. degree in psychology from the University of Oregon (1982), as well as his B.A. and M.A. degrees in psychology from California State University. For over 20 years, he has been doing basic and applied research in human judgment, decision making, and decision aiding. In addition to his traditional research interests, he raises llamas on a small ranch in western Oregon, where he is sometimes approached by people with interesting business propositions that he must evaluate quickly and effectively.
