Len Tashman, Ph.D., Brown University, 1969, has spent his academic career on the faculty of the School of Business Administration faculty at the University of Vermont. When not skiing, he offers courses in forecasting methods, decision analysis, statistics and business economics. When not teaching, he does research in forecasting methods and evaluations of forecasting software. When not rejected, ignored or set aflame, his research has been published in the International Journal of Forecasting and elsewhere. He agreed to write this chapter while under the influence of single-malt beverages in Edinburgh.
